The AGCP is a fast growing Peer Group dedicated to excellence in fitting and building golf clubs. We have some of the best clubfitters and clubmakers on the planet in our membership and our strength is our willingness to share our trade secrets with the membership so that all AGCP members can achieve the same level of excellence and profitability. As such...
The AGCP is a Mastermind Alliance of dedicated Professional who are formed as close to the concept of Napoleon Hill’s Mastermind Alliance as possible.
The AGCP stands for excellence. We hope though research, education and communication to foster excellence in clubfitters and clubmakers worldwide.
The AGCP goal is to create a successful business model for clubfitters and clubmakers by using proven, best business practices. We want to bring professionalism and expertise into our industry to a degree that will help clubfitters and clubmakers find a way to not only enjoy what they do but to make it profitable enough to make a living doing it.
We believe that for our craft to survive we will have to build an organization that fosters successful businesses through highly trained and skilled clubfitters and clubmakers.
The AGCP will strive to train clubfitters and clubmakers to a level where they will have confidence to be able to move out of their garage and basement and into a store front if that is what they wish to do. The AGCP will give them a working business model that will allow them to support both their family and their Golf business simultaneously.
We believe that a network of AGCP Qualified Store Fronts across the country can have the same recognition as Mercedes, Lexus, Rolex, etc. because the same quality and expertise is found in each and every member shop. Our ultimate goal is to have our AGCP logo instantly recognized by and have influence with the Golf Community, Golf Industry, OEMs, and PGA. We want the AGCP to be the preferred recommendation from these groups when referring customers to clubfitting, club building, and club repair. We will accomplish this goal by having a strong, unified member group who openly shares valuable information, expertise, and advice. The TV commercials, training videos, and AGCP Forums will be the foundation for a conduit through which our membership will gain premier recognition in the golf world.
The focus of the AGCP is to provide assistance to retail business operations. We openly share that same passion for excellence with all members whether they work out of their garage, or out of their basement, because we will not forget our roots. This is where countless successful businesses got their start. Therefore, the research, education, and communications will be available to all members regardless of their personal goals or situation. We do ask that all members share our quest for excellence by adhering to the principles and standards set by the AGCP.
Some of the future goals of the AGCP that we intend to follow through on as soon as your membership expands to be able to afford them are: :
- Have launch monitor systems set up in our Headquarters for members to test before they buy these expensive systems. We hope to have Golf Achiever, Golftek, Vector and Zeolcity and maybe others set up at all times for member testing and evaluation in our Headquarters.
- We hope to be able to set up work shops in our Headquarters for members to come here individually and/or have peer group meetings to learn better techniques for fitting and building.
- We would encourage some of our vendors to come here and rent space in our facility to put on schools or classes. We have had preliminary discussions with some of our vendors along these lines that have been encouraging.
- If our membership level becomes large enough and the need arises, we can set up video studios to allow us to shoot video in the AGCP building and set up Internet Video conferencing for classes. This will be especially valuable forAGCP International members who find it cost prohibitive to travel to a Roundtable. We are also investigating how we might be able to have the Roundtable on video for worldwide hook ups.
- With enough growth in our membership we could purchase a Trackman and a small robot to use on a local range that we have access to for additional testing based on member demand.
